Thunderbird Killer Whale and Chief

$2,000.00 CAD

Description

Created by master carver William Watts, this talking stick reveals the mastery William Watts has over his carving technique. The painting of this work is also exceptional. The top of the Talking stick depicts Thunderbird with its wings spread. Below the Thunderbird one finds the Killer Whale facing downward, in its fin we see a carved face of the wild man. Below the fin sits the Chief with two feathers. The Chief flows into the handle of the talking stick. The Talking Stick sits in a base which holds the stick upright like a free standing statue.
