This sculpture has been hand carved and painted by Darren Yelton he has featured the figure of a bald eagle with the portrait of a bear. The Bear in the Haida Culture is called “Elder Kinsman” and is a known for his great strength. The bald eagle has been depicted with it’s beak down which is a greeting symbol and a sign of good luck!
