This very unusual Moon Mask was created by Jacob Lewis, who is famous for his use of Paua Shells laid into his carvings. This mask is carved in cedar and painted with a copper color which makes it an unusual metal look. The 62 Paua Shells inlay decorates the Mask with a look of brass over the copper.
