A special creation by this master carver, this totem pole has a unique design, is shaped beautifully and carved deeply with lots of detail. On top is an eagle with two beautiful out-streched wings decorated with abalone on the tips. On the eagle's chest is a human figure which is transforming into an eagle. Below the eagle is the Whale watcher wearing a whale hat. On each side of his cheeks is a seal, the prey of killer whales. On the back side is the whale watcher's head and the salmon spirit symbol . The whale watcher wears a feather with a piece of abalone. The pole stands on a nicely carved base. There is a killer whale with its tail transforminginto a thunderbird. A penny is inlaid on the base from the year 2011, the year the piece was created. An amazing rare and very special piece. Specs
