Box With Sun Designs (20% off from $2400)

This box is carved with traditional designs on all 5 sides. On Top is a sunmask with 8 rays, 4 of them are raven heads. The front panel shows two quarters of a sun mask with a wild man transforming from the sun. The left side panel has a quarter sunmask with a wild man inside and the right panel shows the opposite quarter. On the back panel two quarters of the sun with two wild men - transforming from the sun - can be seen. Nicely shaped, sitting on a formed base, the box is well carved and painted with 6 colors. Lid is attached with a band of hinges and has a small chain to hold it open. Created by a master carver this box would enhance any room.
