Bear & Eagle Box

This elegant box was created by an experienced master carver, the Late Frank White Eagle Sr., who passed away a few years ago.

Following traditional designs, Frank deeply carved the lid with a figure of Bear combined with Eagle. The four sides are carved with a Thunderbird, an Eagle Moon, a Shark, and a Sun Mask. Both the lid and the bottom base are edge slanted and little bit bigger than the box. The artist carried out the very industrious work of carving out all of these intricate designs. The bottom panel are attached with felt both inside and outside. Simply stained with brown, and painted in black and red, it is an elegant piece perfect for a collector or anyone looking for a very special piece for their home.
